Philadelphia Museum of Art Announces Groundbreaking to Celebrate the Launch of Frank Gehry Transformation

PHILADELPHIA MUSEUM OF ART ANNOUNCES GROUNDBREAKING TO CELEBRATE LAUNCH OF THE FRANK GEHRY TRANSFORMATION

On March 30, the Philadelphia Museum of Art will welcome the public for a day of events, talks, and tours showcasing the upcoming renewal and expansion of the Museum's historic landmark building

The Philadelphia Museum of Art announces an all-day open house with Pay-What-You-Wish admission to officially mark the groundbreaking of the Core Project phase of Frank Gehry's Master Plan for the Museum's expansion. The open house offers visitors an opportunity to enjoy gallery conversations with staff, behind-the-scenes tours, and a new installation featuring Gehry's architectural models and renderings of the building design. Refreshments will be available throughout the day, as will an educational video explaining the Core Project.
