Philadelphia Museum of Art (PAM) Has Announced Their Groundbreaking Celebration to Launch the Core Project Renovations
On March 30th, the Philadelphia Museum of Art will welcome the public for an Open Day at the museum of events, talks, and tours showcasing upcoming renovations and expansions to their historic landmark building.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (Philadelphia, PA, — February 27, 2017): The Philadelphia Museum of Art (PMA) has announced their all-day open house to officially mark the groundbreaking of their Core Project, a three-year endeavor of Frank Gehry-designed building renovations occurring through 2020. Taking place at the Museum, the celebration will be a chance for visitors to pay what they wish to experience the museum and enjoy gallery conversations with staff, behind-the-scenes hard-hat tours of new spaces currently under construction, and exhibitions featuring Frank Gehry’s architectural models and renderings to learn about the new building design. Throughout the day, there will be refreshments as well an educational video explaining the Core Project.
