Scotland + Venice

Karla Black represented Scotland at the 54th International Art Exhibition at the 2011 Venice Biennale, the world's largest and most prestigious showcase for contemporary visual arts. The exhibition was curated by The Fruitmarket Gallery and shown at Palazzo Pisani (S.Marina), Venice.

Scotland + Venice is a partnership between Creative Scotland, National Galleries of Scotland and British Council Scotland. 

Sutton PR worked closely with the Scotland + Venice team to deliver a significantly increased international profile of the artist for the Scottish presentation across the UK national, international and arts media.
