Manchester International Festival

Manchester International Festival is the world's first festival of original, new work and special events and takes place biennially, in Manchester, UK. The Festival launched in 2007 as an artist-led, commissioning festival presenting new works from across the spectrum of performing arts, visual arts and popular culture. The 2011 programme included the Chinese opera ‘Monkey Journey to the West’, the pioneering group show ‘Il Tempo del Postino’ and ‘The Life and Death of Marina Abramović, which starred Marina Abramović, Willem Dafoe and an international cast of actors and performance artists.

Sutton PR has worked with MIF since 2007, specifically on developing the international media profile for their world-class visual arts commissions and a tailored VIP events programme to broaden global networks.
