Glasgow International Festival of Visual Art
Glasgow International Festival of Visual Art presents top international contemporary art alongside the best emerging talent; conceived and created in collaboration with the visual arts sector in Glasgow. Packed with events, talks and tours as well as world-class exhibitions, the Festival takes place every two years in an array of different spaces across Glasgow including Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA) and Tramway, as well as artist-run collectives and newly discovered spaces in the city.
Highlights for the 3rd edition will include major solo exhibitions by Turner Prize winners and nominees including Richard Wright and Karla Black and newly-commissioned work by leading international and local artists such as Nairy Baghramian, Rosalind Nashashibi and Alexandra Bachzetsis.
