Edinburgh Art Festival

Edinburgh Art Festival (EAF) is Scotland’s largest annual visual art festival, showcasing a diverse and vibrant programme of arts exhibitions and events across more than 40 museums, galleries and pop-up spaces the length and breadth of Edinburgh city centre and beyond. EAF brings together new commissions, major exhibitions by leading international artists and the best emerging artistic talent. In its 8th year, 2011 highlights included major solo exhibitions by Tony Cragg, David Mach and Robert Rauschenberg; Anish Kapoor’s first solo exhibition in Scotland; and the first artist-designed festival pavilion.
