

Dulwich Picture Gallery
Dulwich Picture Gallery is England’s first purpose built public art gallery. Built in 1811 and designed by architect Sir John Soane, it boasts a unique collection of some of the most important European Old Master paintings in the world, including those bequeathed by Sir Francis Bourgeois RA.
The Gallery’s permanent collection is complemented by an internationally renowned temporary exhibitions and outreach programme. Exhibitions for 2012 include Andy Warhol, Van Dyck in Sicily, Philip Haas and Cotman in Normandy.
