Bonhams' new Contemporary Art Department offers closely curated and considered lots for sale. The department has recently grown and recruited a new and highly dynamic team offering the best expertise, focus and passion to introduce this innovative and bold venture.

Bonhams’ inaugural contemporary art auction - Contemporary One, a focused sale of landmark and important works by some of the most sought-after artists of the twentieth century, took place on Thursday, 13 October 2011 in London. The next Contemporary One sale will be on Monday, 13 February 2012 at 7pm in London.

Bonhams is currently expanding its London headquarters at 101 New Bond Street. Designed by award-winning architects Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands, the new £30m purpose-built building is due for completion in December 2013.
