Art Fairs
We have worked closely with ART HK, directing their International PR and Corporate Strategy since 2009. Following the success of ART HK 10 & ART HK 11, the Fair has now become one of the world’s leading art fairs and recently, in July 2011, MCH Swiss Exhibition (Basel) Ltd., a MCH Group company and organiser of Art Basel and Art Basel Miami Beach, acquired a 60% ownership stake in ART HK, affirming the reputable status of the Fair.
For ART HK 10 and ART HK 11, we directed a nine-month press campaign, working closely with the ART HK team. Offering strategic advice to the ART HK team throughout the duration of the campaign, we also organized a tailored four day press trip itinerary, engaging a large group of the world’s top journalists with the Fair and Hong Kong’s unique cultural landscape.
We secured extensive & consistent coverage in top tier International publications such as the Financial Times, The Art Newspaper, The Daily Telegraph, the Australian Financial Review, the Sydney Morning Herald, Le Monde, Suddeutsche Zeitung, Welt am Sonntag, the Times of India, Il Sole 24Ore, Art Review, Art + Auction and Monocle, amongst many others. We also secured a feature front cover interview with Damien Hirst to coincide with ART HK 10 in Modern Weekly, China’s most widely read weekly consumer magazine.
Forthcoming coverage for 2012 includes a feature on the major art players in Hong Kong, pegged to the Fair, to be published in the February issue of GQ, in addition to an extensive stand alone article in the special ‘smart arts’ issue of The Financial Times, How to Spend It Magazine about a new, exciting initiative for ART HK 12, to be published on 18 February
